H I S T O R Y
Spa Elysium Ltd. was incorporated in August, 1991 by Wendy Feldman and opened for business on December 12, 1991 with a staff of seven and 1,100 square feet. Located in Chestnut Hill Health and Fitness Center, our goal was to create a place where beauty and wellness could reside together.
Spa Elysium provides excellent customer service; each member is integral to its team. Our belief of beauty and wellness residing together still exists, but has been expanded to include making a difference in our community. This is a place to expand our horizons and exceed our goals.
We would appreciate your honoring of the following policies:
We request a 24-hour notice for all cancellations. (A 50% no-show fee may be applied to all services over $125).
For parties of 3 or more, we require a 20% deposit on a credit card to hold appointments.
When booking bridal parties, please ask about our bridal contract.
All gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Elderly or handicapped persons requiring assistance should be accompanied by an escort at the Spa.
We also suggest you change for chemical services, as we will not be responsible for damaged clothing.

CHILDREN: We love children, but the spa is not the safest place for them. There are chemicals and tools with excessive heat being used. Please refrain from bringing children to the spa unless they have a scheduled appointment. We strive to create a relaxing environment for all of our clients and we ask that you respect this policy.

AMENITIES: We advise that you leave your jewelry and other valuables at home. We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage of personal articles.

CHECK-IN: Being on time for you appointment is greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service and our other clients are not inconvenienced. We suggest arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: Gift certificates can be purchased in-person, over the phone, or online. Please provide gift certificate number when booking an appointment and present certificate upon arrival at the spa.

AIRBRUSH TANNING GUIDELINES: It is recommended that you have any facial or body waxing done prior to your spray tan. Do not get waxed after your spray tan and before you shower. Please exfoliate and shave before your spray tan. This will remove excess skin and will ensure a more even tan. You cannot have any lotion, makeup, sunscreen, or oil on your skin at the time of your appointment, even if it has been applied earlier in the day. We have makeup wipes in the salon if you need to remove makeup prior to your appointment.

SECURE ONLINE ORDERING: Spa Elysium gives you secure online ordering with “Secure Socket Layers” (SSL), an advanced encryption technology that protects your credit card information so it can only be read by an authorized party who has a key to decode the encrypted information.

GETTING HERE
We are SEPTA accessible by Chestnut Hill Stations East and West. We also have a private parking lot so you don't have to search for parking (or battle the PPA) during your stay with us. Parking at Spa Elysium is always free during your appointment.
